Walk a Mile in Her Shoes
September 19th 11:00 am - September 19th 01:30 pm
YWCA WALK A MILE IN HER SHOES® is an annual fundraising event which raises money to support the work the YWCA Lethbridge and District does to break the cycle of family violence and help keep women and their children safe. Although family violence is a very serious matter, this fun and light-hearted event asks registered male participants to take a stand against family violence, strap on a pair of heels and walk around Galt Gardens. Only men can participate in the walk, but women play a huge role in this event by encouraging and challenging the men in their lives to register and fundraise for the YWCA Lethbridge and District. Everyone is welcome; walk, support, or volunteer for the event. To register check out the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes page under Annual Events 2014 2015.
