Welcome to “As the Page Turns”, YWCA Lethbridge and District’s book club.



Reading has been a passion for me my whole life. But the reading is just the beginning, it’s the sharing opinions and observations about the book that completes the experience.   Since we have such busy lives in this wild and crazy modern life,  it seems that sharing in a blog is one way to include those who just can’t make to yet another meeting.

Share your opinions!  If you loved it, fine.  If you didn’t like it, even better – let’s talk about why.  For me, I need to like at least one character in a book or movie. Sometimes, that ‘why I didn’t like it” thing leads me to understand more about myself and our society than ‘why I liked the book’. Let’s have an old fashioned conversation in a new way.
