Share the Light”, Our 10th Annual Royal Gala

Each of over 600 Royal LePage locations are encouraged to partner with a local women's shelter. This type of partnership can offer much-needed financial support to local shelters, as well as other needed goods and services. Funds raised by the local Royal LePage offices remain in their local community. Local efforts benefit local shelters, and because Royal LePage pays the costs of administration, 100% of all money and effort goes toward the cause.

The Royal Gala will be especially festive this year as Royal LePage and the YWCA celebrate the 10th annual event. The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation committee has chosen the theme, “Share the Light”. What started out to be a three year commitment has gone way above that early commitment. Leslie Hatfield was a member of that first Royal Gala committee and has continued on as the anchor of this committee for the entire ten years. Not only has she stayed, she has inspired others. When asked how they came to join this committee and make such a commitment, the other members of this year’s committee all said, “Leslie!” |
