The YWCA Lethbridge and District strives to make a real difference in the lives of woman, creating dialogue about issues that impact us and our community.



  The YWCA Lethbridge and District    
  works to address three main pillars of 
  service in our community:

           •  Homelessness
           •  Poverty
           •  Violence

  We all have the power to make a  
  difference in our world – I mean a real 
  difference! For many of us it starts with 
  knowing what the issues are. This Blog 
  is a time and space for our web 
  community to put forward their 
  comments, thoughts and promote 
  actions to make a difference. Great and 
  small – we want to hear what you think 
  and feel.

•    Prevention of Family Violence Month (November)
• 16 Days of Activism to End Gender Violence (November 25th – December 10th)
• National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women (Dec. 6th)
• Human Rights Day (December 10th)
