Opened in 1950, the YWCA Women's Residence has 37 beds. Single and double rooms are available for women to rent on a weekly or monthly basis at reasonable rates. This is a YWCA signature program.

Through Social Housing In Action we are able to provide counselling and support services to the women and children. Over 100 women a year access this social housing program. 

Located close to downtown and public transportation, the Women's Residence provides:

  • a clean, safe and secure facility
  • single and double rooms, furnished
  • shared kitchen facility, coin operated washer and dryer
  • outdoor playground facility and picnic area
  • access to the YWCA Health and Wellness programs
  • TV lounge, pay telephones.

Rooms are rented on a weekly or monthly basis.
